Located on the banks of the Salzach River, in the centre of Salzburg, the Hotel Stein has a history dating back to medieval times and was fully renovated and reopened in the spring of 2018. The lifestyle and design hotel offers guests a panoramic rooftop terrace with views over the rooftops and the surroundings.

Rooms at the Hotel Stein show a mixture of modern and classical style, with Austrian and Venetian influences. The luxurious roomshave air conditioning, a unique furnishing and handcrafted glass decorations or lamps. The bathrooms are equipped with natural beauty products made from herbal ingredients in pharmacy quality.

The restaurant Steinterrasse is located on the 7th floor and offers a view of the old town of Salzburg. Guests can enjoy a breakfast, brunch or fine dining on the rooftop terrace, and enjoy exquisite drinks and dishes.

Hotel Steins own spa area can be used against a surcharge and features a relaxation area, sauna and gym. Guides are provided in the rooms with running, hiking and Nordic walking routes.

Only 70 metres from the property, the well known Linzergasse starts,a variety of shops can be found. Cultural landmarks like Mozarts Birthplace, Salzburg Cathedral, the Mirabell Garden and Hohensalzburg Fortress arewithin short walking distance to Hotel Stein.
